Nandha Ayurveda College and Hospital Erode is fully fledged actively functioning Department that looks into the promotion of health with healthy lifestyle.

Dinacharya (daily regimen),rutucharya (seasonal regimen), Sadvrutta and achararasayana(moral codes of conduct) advocated in Ayurveda are the four pillars of health. Department of Swasthavritta in Nandha Ayurveda College is formed in the year of 2021. The Department handling subjects including Dinacharya, Ritucharya, Ayurveda nutrition, Yoga and Nisargopachara, Impacts of air-water-soil pollution, Disposal of waste, Disaster management, Epidemiology, Family welfare programme, Preventive geriatrics, National health programmes etc which are included in third year undergraduate BAMS syllabus.

Department Of Swasthavritta creates awareness about Ayurveda among the masses regarding life style disorders. The unit of yoga is established for the maintenance of health and therapeutic purposes.

Various programmes are on the anvil to propagate the outstanding wellness solutions of Ayurveda.

The department has yoga hall and nature therapy provisions for demonstration.

    Department seeks to provide excellent theory, clinical and practical education with a view of shaping efficient physicians and researchers who are socially sensitive in the field of Swasthavritta.

    1) Implementation of Dinacharya, Ritucharya and modification of diet, yoga and nature cure techniques.

    2) Department has 6 days OP -life style disorders are managed here by yoga and nature cure techniques.

    3) Department deals with the activities for the restoration of physical and mental health of each individuals by the application of Dinacharya and

        Ritu charya procedures.

    4) Yoga and naturopathy is an important wing of this department.

    5) By the application of yoga and naturopathy techniques we manage life style disorders very well.

    6) Every day yoga classes are conducted for OP and I P patients.

    7) Yoga techniques which are suitable for each patient is selected and practiced.
