A special branch of the Ashtanga Ayurvedic tree, the eight branches of Ayurveda, Shalakya Tantra deals with the causes, diagnosis and curative procedures and prevention of the diseases pertaining to organs of the Head, above the shoulder - Eyes, Ears, Lips, Nose, Throat and Teeth.

 

     The word Shalakya in Sanskrit means a probe. Therefore, by Shalakya tantra, it is meant that the treatment would be done using appropriate tools for ingesting medication to the affected parts of the body. The branch is also described as Urdhwangchikitsa.

 

Mission

     To establish ayurvedic approach to allergic, degenerative, diabetic, hypertensive and endocrine, digital media oriented disorders related to Eye, and ENT including care of Oral hygiene with Management of Oro-dental disorders.

 

    To provide best possible patient care with utmost competence in the areas of medical, surgical and para-surgical management, focusing on Ophthalmic, ENT and Oro dental care.
