Prasuti Tantra & Striroga is a significant branch of Ayurveda mainly dealing with Parturition(Prasuti Tantra/Obstetrics) and Gynaecological (StriRoga) disorders.
The Department of Prasuti and StriRoga is imparting knowledge of health of women of all ages. Our mission is to produce the graduates of Ayurveda through timely innovative and creative training program who can excel in patient care.
Department is well established with Ayurveda teaching hospital for infusing knowledge to students. Department is consistently in imparting knowledge through Classroom Teaching, Audio-Visual learning, Group Discussions, Class Seminars, CMEs, Case Demonstrations etc.,
The activities of the Department includes providing Ayurvedic
Medical Care and Treatment for various diseases of females like Anartava,Artava kshaya, Artava dushti, Asrugdara, Vandhyatwa, Garbhasaya Shotha, Cysts related to Beeja Granthi, Shroni Shoth(Pelvic Inflammation), Raja kruchrata etc..
The Prasuti Section of the department provides Ayurvedic medical care and treatment for various conditions of pregnant women like Garbhini Parikshana(Antenatal care), Garbhini Paricharya, Prasava Karma, Sutika Paricharya. The department also performs various Ayurvedic procedures like Uttara Basti, Kshara Karma, Yoni Prakshalan, Pichu, Anuvasana Basti etc., to female patients as a part of treatment.

- Good Library with Updated Modern and Ayurveda Books, Journals on the subject with e-learning facility
- We have Clinical Skill Lab where a student can perform on manikins for effective learning
- Department has well established OPD, IPD, Minor and Major Operation Theatre
- Department regularly conducts Public Awareness/Educative Programs involving students to develop communication skills on National and International days.
