Rasa Shasthra and Bhaishajya Kalpana handles purification, preparation & quality testing of ayurvedic medicines.
The Department is well equipped, having a spacious laboratory, standardization and quality control section, museum with abundant samples and tutorial room.
We provide training to students for preparing ayurvedic medicines. Different types of formulations like kwatha, gutika, arishta and asavas, tailam, choornas, bhasmas, avalehas etc., are prepared in this department.
Quality control section assess qualities of medicines like Ph, moisture percentage, disintegration, hardness, rancidity of oils etc., under the guidance of well experienced and qualified staffs.
